Technologist Opportunity to be a member of the module rapid prototyping team, working closely with other engineers and technical staff to expedite the development of prototype ultracapacitor modules using Ioxus cells. This technologist will be involved with mechanical module design, analysis and testing of ultracapacitor modules. The technologist should have background/experience in prototype fabrication techniques and methods. The candidate must work well independently and with a small team of engineers and do their own CAD work (Solidworks experience preferred). Highly motivated and a self-starter. Five plus years mechanical engineering experience in thermal analysis and design of enclosures for electronic equipment preferred. Experience with design for manufacturing, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA). AS degree a minimum requirement. Location: Schenectady, New York. Hiring now. EOE/AA
